Help us help the Berezhany Orphanage in Ukraine

2026 Raffle Details Below - We'll see you next in 2027

For over 20 years, the Holy Ghost community has been supporting the orphanage in Berezhany, Ukraine, who in turn, care for special needs orphans across the region. Many of you may be familiar with the Pyrohy Open Golf Outing, which raised between $5000 - $7000 annually for the orphanage. While this event has run it course and we are now holding a basket raffle to continue our support. We hope this event will continue to raise the funds that help make the orphanage a better place year over year. During this time of war, their funding has been cut and they are even more reliant on outside sources. Please be Generous!

The Details

How many baskets are available to put in tickets for? - There are twenty baskets available in the raffle. Details of each basket can be found below. 
When can I purchase tickets? - Tickets are available for purchase today through the end of the day on June 1, 2026. 
How much are tickets? - They are 2 for $5, 5 for $10, 12 for $20, and 30 for $50. 
Do I have to purchase tickets in person? - No, tickets can be purchased remotely by reaching out to Christopher Ross at 330-620-8108.  Tickets can be purchased with cash or by check. 
When will the winner be drawn? - The Raffle Drawing will be June 7th, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Holy Ghost Parish. Winners who are not present will be contacted via the phone number listed on their ticket.  
What is this fundraiser goal? - The goal will be to raise $3000 for the orphanage. 
Where can I view the baskets in person?  - The baskets will be viewable at Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church on May 16th and 17th. They will be viewable at St Francis de Sales Pavilion (4019 Manchester Road) on Saturday, May 30 from 6 pm -7 pm, and Sunday, May 31 from 10 am. to 1 pm. 
What if I just want to make a donation to the orphanage? - You can absolutely choose to just make a donation. To make a donation, contact Christopher Ross at 330-620-8108.
