Do I have to be a Ukrainian to attend?
No. Not any more than you have to be Roman to attend a Roman Catholic Church.

Do I have to speak Ukrainian?
No. The service, the Divine Liturgy, is in English

Who is our Pastor?
Fr. Vsevolod Shevchuk (Fr. Sal) is our pastor.  He speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian.  Father Sal is here to lead and help us all.

When is there Fellowship?
After Sunday Divine Liturgy (Mass), we gather for refreshments and community fellowship. Also on holidays, we will have special dinners.

The Divine Liturgy

There is a more relaxed felling, very down to earth, using a lot of contemporary music. Liturgy has the ell of a shared celebration.
Emphasis: God is here with us, so go and live this our in the world.
The use of dramatic music and actions tries to lift people up to experience a 'taste of Heaven'. 
Emphasis: This is what God has in store for us in Heaven, so go and live this our in the world right now.

Social Issues

St. Peter
Social justice issues flow from Christ's humanity.
We act toward one another as Jesus of Nazareth did.
St. Andrew
Social justice issues flow from the communion of the Trinity.  The Trinitarian community of love 
is a model for us.
